During our meeting last night, we were reminded of this fact; the size of a club isn't as as important as the commitment of its members. Paul Harris and the "Boys of 1905" were a small group and through their dedication and commitment, Rotary International and Glendale West Rotary exist today. Time Capsule News
The time capsule was not sealed last night due to some techical difficulty. We will collect final items during our club assembly meeting at the end of the month. If you were unable to attend last night, bring your items then. Must fit into a box 6"deep x 8"wide and 3"high.
It was decided the date for opening of the capsule should be 2058 and due to the logistics of where it needs to be housed it will pass from President to President. It will be interesting to see how this progresses through the years and if it doesn't get misplaced.
Items and vendors are being collected for the Rummage Sale.
Please pass the word!
We currently have a commitment from Peoria North, Sun City, Sun City Satellite and Glendale to participate. Awaiting their forms. We have two vendors committed. There is an application and waiver form which must be signed by all participants. We are being very careful to prevent duplication of vendor items. therefore, follow up with Angel prior to making a commitment or have them e-mail to set every thing up. Interact has expressed an interest and the opportunity has been extended to them as well.
