From the Prez
Our September meeting was filled with good news. John Burke has been heading our dictionary program for some time. The grant was approved, and he will get dictionaries ordered. We will let you know when the sticker party is, so we have a chance to gather in person.
Rebecca put together a grant for our local community center and it has been approved and will soon provide new chairs for the dining/meeting area of the Yarnell Regional Community Center.
We talked about the areas of focus for global grants, as well as the simpler requirements in
District Simplified grants. Lucky for us, Rebecca knows how these things work and provided a lot of information.
